The Transition Plan (Transition to Adult Care and Support) The Government 'Making Finance Decisions for Young People: Parent and Carer' Toolkit has been added into the list of tools to support the Transition Plan conversation.
Providing Information about a Person or Carer Information about the Caldicott Principles has been added.
Recognising and Responding to Deprivations of Liberty This Procedure has been fully reviewed and refreshed. This included moving information about Best Interests into Section 6, Applying to the Court, adding information about the National Deprivation of Liberty Court and adding a new Section 8, Challenging a DoLS Authorisation using Section 21A. Section 2, Identifying Deprivations of Liberty (ages 18 and over) and Section 5, Identifying and Responding to Deprivations of Liberty (ages 16 and 17) have both been updated to provide greater clarity on state imputability.
Resident Affairs and Deputyship Procedure This Procedure has been fully reviewed and refreshed including. Section 6, Making a Property and Affairs Deputyship Application has been updated to include more information about notifications. Information about Carer's Card accounts has been added into Section 2, Identifying Support Needs.
Debt Respite Scheme (Breathing Spaces) Procedure A new Section 2, Final Demand Guide has been added. Updated in May 2023, the Final Demand Guide provides basic advice for health and social care workers, describing how they can practically help people with debt and mental health problems.
Ordinary Residence Procedure Section 5, Meeting the Urgent Needs of a Person who is not Ordinarily Resident has been reviewed and refreshed. A link to the Section 117 Aftercare Procedure section on ordinary residence has also been added.
Social Circumstances Report This Procedure has been fully reviewed and refreshed.
Section 117 Aftercare A link to the Community Mental Health Framework for Adults and Older Adults documents has been added into Section 9, Further Information.

“Where the Local Authority requests another person to work jointly in some way to benefit the person with Care and Support needs that person has a duty to co-operate with the request”

To clarify that the duty applies equally to persons and organisations, all occurrences of this text have been amended to:

The Specialist and Non-Frequent Procedure section has been renamed 'Specialist and Universal Procedures'.

Default procedures are those procedures that appear on multiple team homepages and are in effect 'shared' procedures.

Tri.x has added information to these procedures about which teams share them, so that this is clearer.
Establishing Ordinary Residence All Teams now link to a single version of this procedure.

Recognising and Responding to Deprivations of Liberty References to parental consent in relation to deprivations of liberty for 16 and 17 year olds have been removed in response to the Supreme Court judgement RE D (A Child) on 26th September 2019. This declared that parents cannot provide such consent.
Social Media (use of) The procedure has been updated to reflect guidance on social media from the new social work regulator, Social Work England.
