Welcome to the Sandwell Children's Trust Procedures Manual

Welcome to the updated online procedures manual for Sandwell Children's Trust, which is produced and maintained in partnership with tri.x.

This manual should be read alongside the Regional Child Protection Procedures which contain the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Procedures for the region. There is also additional guidance on safeguarding on the Sandwell Children's Safeguarding Partnership website (SCSP).

If you wish any amendments or additions to be included in an update, or if you have any questions about the operation of these procedures or the process for updating/amending them, please contact: Michelle Hicken (Michelle_Hicken@sandwellchildrenstrust.org).

The 'Using this Manual' guidance explains how this manual works, and sets out the latest amendments. Any copies of old procedures should be discarded.

This manual is updated on a regular basis and you can register to be alerted to any changes by using the 'Register for Updates' button.

Note: the body of this manual contains policies and procedures. You will find additional local material in Sandwell Guidance, for example, leaflets, young peoples' guides, foster carers' guides and Business Processes – access this via the menu at the top of the page.
