Locality Teams
There are 3 Locality Teams - Wrekin, Hadley and Lakeside. Collectively, the 3 teams have responsibility for people who need advice and information, assessment and/or review, and/or who maybe experiencing abuse from others.
The team ethos is "Community Led Support". Being locality based ensures each team is aware of all the different networks of support that exist in their area so that they can use these to deliver better outcomes for people.
Each locality has a dedicated team of Social Workers, Adult Practitioners, Senior Social Workers and a Team Leader. All our interventions are governed by the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act and we ensure that the people we support are always at the heart of any intervention.
