Contents

  1. Child Centred
  2. Transparent
  3. Respectful
  4. Creative

1. Child Centred

  • We will listen to the voice of the child, giving them the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings and opinions and empowering them to do so;
  • We will act as advocates for the child and their families;
  • We will work together to take a holistic approach to our services for children and their families, considering all aspects of wellbeing;
  • We will work with children and families to raise aspirations, educate for life and create positive outcomes.

2. Transparent

  • We will communicate open and honestly with our colleagues and with our partners and customers;
  • We will be clear about the services we can provide, and what is beyond our remit;
  • We will be clear about what we can say. We will also be clear if there’s something we can’t say, and explain the reasons why;
  • We will be clear with services users and partners about what we need from them, in order to be able to offer the best service we can.

3. Respectful

  • We will embrace difference in colleagues, service users and partners;
  • We will acknowledge and be respectful of diversity;
  • We will work towards a learning culture across the business, raising awareness of the roles of others and generating respect for the part they play in our progress;
  • We will value training opportunities as a contribution to our personal development.

4. Creative

  • We will broaden our horizons, looking for innovative opportunities to improve and develop the company and our services;
  • We will look for opportunities to work smart, we won’t do something just because it’s always been done that way;
  • We will look for opportunities to bring commercial investment into the company, which can then be reinvested into our services;
  • We will be forward thinking and share our skills to create services that suit the needs of each child and family.
