Reporting Concerns

If you are concerned about a child's welfare or worried they are being abused, you can make a referral to Reading Borough Council Children's Single Point of Access - Telephone Number: 0118 937 3641 - 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Outside these hours, contact the Emergency Duty Service (EDS) on 01344 351999.

The Interagency Referral Form can also be used to share information with your local office. More information on how to make a referral can be found here.

If you are unsure the Pan Berks Procedures Manual will be able to help guide you or the Threshold Criteria which tells you which types of services a family may need to get support.
