Reporting Concerns

If you are concerned about a child's welfare or worried they are being abused, you can make a referral to the Warrington Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). During working hours the MASH can be contacted on 01925 443400. Outside of normal office hours, referrals can be made by calling 01925 444400. In an emergency, please call 999.

The Warrington Multi Agency Referral Form should be used when an agency considers that a child has needs which cannot be met solely by that agency, and where co-ordinated intervention is required to promote, safeguard or protect the welfare of the child/children concerned. For more information on how to make a referral please see the Referrals Procedure.

If you are unsure the Warrington Safeguarding Children Board Procedures Manual will be able to help guide you, and the Warrington Safeguarding Children Board Threshold Document contains information to help you decide how best to respond to a child's identified needs.

Alternatively you can call the NSPCC for advice and support on 0808 800 5000 or by emailing help@nspcc.org.uk.
