Placement Plan

Upon admission, or shortly afterward, the manager of the home is responsible for drawing up two key plans: The Placement Plan, which summarises the arrangements for the care of the child; and an Individual Crisis Management Plan (ICMP), which addresses the child's behavioural needs provides guidance for staff on managing the child.

These two plans sould be designed/written to complement the child's Placement Information Record, Care Plan or other plans and agreements such as an Individual Education Plan drawn up by education colleagues.
