This manual was amended in August 2011, regarding changes emanating from the Care Planning Regulations (2010) the Children's Homes Standards and Regulations - England (2011).

For users in Wales, please be advised that Children's Homes Standards and Regulations - Wales (2002) should still be adhered to. For managers in Wales, the Quick Reference Guide available in the Appendices, outlines the key areas that have been amended.
