Welcome to this, the latest edition of the Bradford Safeguarding Children Board electronic procedures manual which was introduced in November 2008 and supersedes all previous versions.

This edition includes a number of new chapters, all of which are marked on the contents list as 'New'. Chapters that have been revised have the word 'Updated' against them in the contents list.
Major revisions in the manual relate to the arrangements since the Child Protection Register ceased to exist in April 2008, and the introduction of procedures for Unexpected Child Deaths (see Section 8, Unexpected Child Deaths of this manual).

Reluctant and Hostile Families Procedure
Children who Pose a Risk Procedure
